I haven't been able to get any YouTube embeds to show up on my posts for about two weeks now. After 3 years of working perfectly my YouTube embeds just show a blank white box when I posted them instead of the YouTube player with the video on it.
Jackhammer pm'd me this set of instructions:

Your vids are not working agin but there is a very simple way around this.
Use the youtube tags in advanced reply. Copy and paste the url in address bar between the tags and then just delete everything from www up to and including the = sign. We only need the few letters/ numbers after that sign in order for it to play.

I've tried abbreviating the embed code as Jackhammer suggested but it doesn't work either. Maybe I'm misundertanding his instructions. Here's an imbed code from YouTube:
===============================
<object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/rCROrQsnaNU?fs=1&hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/rCROrQsnaNU?fs=1&hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object>
================================
From Jackhammer's instructions I'm not exactly sure exactly what code should be deleted and which should remain. If someone is knowledgable on this abbreviated YouTube code, maybe they could show me the abbreviated code that should appear in the YouTube brackets below:
That way I can test the code to see if it will work when I post it from my computer. I hope someone can help me with this issue because my music blog has come to a grinding halt for the past couple of weeks because of this embedding problem.
Thanks,
