I laugh nervously and walk back over to my friends, her trailing behind me. She would not LEAVE. Eventually she got up when she was called up to the stage, I told my friends my current situation, and then we freakin booked it. My first and only experience at a strip club and this happens? Wow. Just wow.
Saturday. I went to go see Bassnectar in Chicago which is awesome because Bassnectar is the **** and I haven't been to Chicago in ages. The show couldn't have been better...his main computer crashed after a couple songs so he had to bust out his backup which only had new material on it. He played until 4:30 in the morning and closed with Windowlicker. Oh yes.
So...pretty epic, I'd say.

Yeah, Indiana strip clubs can be pretty shady. I've had some pretty shifty experiences in the Lafayette and/or Frankfort areas. Only one I ever went to in Indy was a real classy joint on the north side, like a $40 cover charge. But it was class. Strip clubs are fun, just know the area and don't slum it when choosing a club. Sorry your first trip was so awkward.
