Equations in relation to the nature of reality fascinate me. Brian Greene has done an excellent job bringing the two together (so far). I went through a mythology phase a few years back and my parents were bible thumpers, so I received a thorough biblical education :P Have you read Dante's Inferno? It's not mythological or entirely biblical, strickly speaking, but in my mind he sort of melded the two together.
