I don't watch that kind of programs. Here we have the local version of Operazione Trionfo. You know, that show presented by a mediocre Italo-Spanish singer and actor.

In both countries the program is broadcast by TV stations owned by Berlusconi. I think that's a reason enough to dismiss any probable trace of honesty, fair play and artistic criterion.

All I know is that winners of OT usually have a limited talent. On the contrary, some good musicians haven't had any significant success in the show. Some years ago Mai Meneses, member of duo Nena Daconte (of which I talked here) was the first contestant to be voted off. Besides, later on their first record was the 3rd best selling album of the year. That says it all.
