I just finished writing it.
present thoughts cloud my memory,
the truth will help me see,
i'm not alone but i'm still not home,
where that is is still unknown,
will i leave or will i stay?,

but i know theres a price on everything,
so, darling, i humbly disagree,
i'm on the road, headed forward,
i stop simply to enjoy the view,
and when it's time to leave once more,
it's Me you feel the need to construe,
i welcome the thought with open arms,
i just hope you know what that implies,
as of now, only one thing's for sure,
i'd be surprised if you changed my life,
i'm not saying it's impossible,
but time keeps dragging on,
days make months, and months make years,
each day i'm more withdrawn,
i try to keep my perception true,
Lord, help me be real, I pray
you laid the path in front of me,
but each step seems so far away,
so baby, in short, i see the sickness inside,
and i possess the cure thereof,
until the day we're born again,
i'm trapped in a world without love,
