I know that some people with similar views to yours shave their heads in protest to the use of hair products and their effect on the environment and the animal testing involved and even though they could use hemp hair care products as an alternative it's more about the principle and symbolism of rejection to the hair industry.
Anyway, headshaving would require some maintance like having to shave as regularly depending on your hair growth if you want to keep the consistantly smooth look and you should probably have an idea of how strong your roots are if you're eager to grow your hair back. Also there's the issue of your scalp being vulnerable to sunburn so skincare is important. And you might have to wear caps when it's too cold.
But on the plus side shaving your head would take you less time than it takes to wash and do all the other stuff with your hair, you'd shave a sh*tload on haircare products and you don't have to worry about bad hair days, tangles, dandriff, lice or so on. You wouldnt have to worry about your boyfriends pulling on your hair during sex and the biggest plus of all, nobody has to hold your hair back when you vomit from a night of binge drinking.
Also that newly exposed skin is very sensitive, I'd imagine it would be an ideal erogenous zone. =D

I don't think there is any reason for you to feel ashamed or perverted at all for having a fetish. Actually, I think you are lucky: you have a sure-fire way to get turned on! A lot of people may not. I don't really feel ashamed of my fetish, I did at first and I used to be secretive about it. But once I realised that there's guys who get off on all kinds of f*cked up things I came to the conclusion that finding women attractive for shaving off some growth on their head that serves no vital biological purpose is not that big of a deal.

I wonder...perhaps bald women are happier than women with head hair? Interestingly, a study found that women who don't shave their body hair have higher self-esteem than those who do. I wonder if the reverse is true for bald women: that is, women who are willing to shave their heads have higher self-esteem.

Possibly, I'd imagine that if a woman can do it with no problem she must not fret too much about fearing rejection, she may either already be in a happy relationship with a non judgemental guy or woman or she wants to thin out the herd for a guy who can accept her as she is.
Some women do it because they dont care about their appearance at all but I'm attracted most to women who simply have enough confidence in themselves and consider themselves hot enough to pull it off.
And one huge plus about women with no hair on them at all is that unlike chicks who shave their legs/vag but have head hair, they're consistant.
I wouldn't be into a chick who is bald AND doesn't shave her legs for one thing, and I've seen chicks who've done that. To me it seems like they try to hard to be like a dude.
Despite my rejection of hair as an important symbol of female beauty, I still prefer women to meet certain ideals of femininity, which you may find sexist. =(
