Not drinking will definately help with the smoking. My worst moment though will be in the mornings. A cup of tea with a cigarette is what I class as breakfast and I really, really can't give up tea so I've gone for de-caff. Unfortunately it's the habit of the two going together more than anything. But yeah, it did make sense to me to give it all up at once rather than trying to do it one thing at a time because they do all go hand in hand and my will power is not great to say the least.
EDIT: Though, thinking about it, giving up smoking AND caffiene does have it's downsides. Without either of those vices I am not a nice person to be around at all

Do you think stopping the habit is just as difficult, if not the most difficult thing about quitting smoking? For me, i really believe this to be the case. Stopping the nicotine craving is just one small part of it.
