Great Britain may have stolen large sections of the world along with most other European powers as well. Great Britain just did it better though, mostly due to their naval supremacy. The Germans tried to achieve this naval supremacy at the start of the 20th century and it was one of the reasons that led to the first World War.
Strangley enough, The Swedes despite their history of rowing around in longships, wearing horned helmets and making harsh guttural sounds, never actually managed proper colonization of other societies. It seems, a bit of pillaging was more preferible.

How on earth could you guys miss my point, I thought it was fairly simple.
All countries have had dark pasts, but for some reason Germany are the only country whose people still have to take sh*t for it.

And what leads you to that conclusion? Are you seriously suggesting that a low-skilled country might beat Argentina in the World Cup (which up till then had been putting on a rather impressive performance) with 4-0?
