I actually really like Feist, though I'm undecided about Jordan. I couldn't finish the first book in WoT though, so maybe that doesn't auger well. Also A Song of Ice and Fire is definitely worth continuing, though don't be surprised if you have to wait years like the rest of us for the series to be finished. I feel bad for the fans who heard about it from when it first came out.
