I don't think they are going to be ground breaking, that era of music has been and gone. Everyone has pushed their creativity to the very edge, I don't think anyone can push it any further. But that isn't a bad thing. So what, things aren't going to be fresh and innovative. People will still use their influence and we'll hear it in older artists, bands' influences will be evident and we'll say "oh, they're reminiscent of ....." and that's a great thing. I can't wait to see what the 10s will bring. I hope it's not a load of generic synth pop.
