Just saw the big blue.
It's a movie about freedivers who are friends competing for a world title for deepest dive and the relationship between them and some other people which includes a cute and part tragic little love story.
I heard quite a bit of hype before I saw it. The lingering feelings it left me with was unfortunately frustration and boredom. The characters were not that likeable I thought, especially not the main guy who is naive, distant and basically acts like a child through much of the movie. His twinkly blue eyes and smile would be his only redeeming quality if only it could charm me like I'm sure it charms the girls who watch this one. Ehfw. It wasn't that it was horrible, but for 2 hours and 40 something minutes? Damn, it was just way too long. Also, if I wanna watch dolphins just swim around, I'll watch BBC Life.
