Can't remember that, but then again I haven't seen the replay since the live broadcast. If it was that close, I still don't think there's room for the French to complain - that linesman's job was to make a split-second decision under the pressure of the knowledge that gazillions of cameras and journalists were watching, and not only tens of thousands of people shouting and screaming around but also going half-deaf from the vuvuzelas. He made a call that, under those conditions, was at worst only fractionally wrong. Plus the French were absolutely terrible, and even if that goal was disallowed I really couldn't see them getting anything out of that game. They were beaten by a team that played better football and cared more, and there's no excuse that can deny that.
