I have absolutely no idea, but you're right, a lot of the lads are getting soft. I guess it was bound to get like this eventually ever since FIFA made the professional foul a red card offence. Football's become a much less physical game than it once was, I know that much - players like Ron Harris, Nobby Stiles and Norman Hunter would probably get sent off every week under today's regulations.

As for today's fixtures, I don't really expect much from any of them as a neutral. France-Mexico could be interesting though.
