And that's if they manage to get 3 points against Chile who, as Mojo said, looked terrific against Honduras. Sure, it was only Honduras (although they have got a certain world-beater by the name of Maynor Figueroa in their lineup

), but I reckon they're more than a match for Spain, especially judging by most of their performance against the Swiss today. Again, it should be a great game we've got coming up.

I think Mexico are a good side and a great passing team but they have no killer instinct as they showed against England in a recent friendly and its for this reason I don`t think they will get out of the 1st round. The main striker is Franco, who is hardly world class and failed to really impress with the hammers and also before with villarreal, I`ve always been a fan of Blanco but he`s an old man now of 37 I think!!!

Yeah, I was amazed when I saw Blanco come on against South Africa. I thought he'd have long since hung up his boots by now. I'm not so sure where their killer instinct is either, but I do think they've got what it takes to beat Uruguay. I think they might even have what it takes to beat the French too - France were absolutely abysmal in Euro 2008, and at best I can only see them scraping through to the knockout rounds. Then again, I was sure Spain would win today, so I've been wrong before.
