Alex Turner did that with me, Red Lights Indicate That Doors Are Secure, A Certain Romance and You Probably Couldn't See Me.. all just sum up culture and life when you're out on the town here in Britain.
Favourite Worst Nightmare was my least favourite album, not 'cause there's anything wrong with it. The songs just didn't speak to me like WPSIATWIN and I don't feel they're as good as Humbug. I loved Humbug from top to toe, Cornerstone being one of my favourite early stand out tracks as well.  |
Wow, its like if I like one thing, you like the other. And if you dont like something, I like it. Its confusing, but strangely cool. Sort of like a coincidence, but not really.
I know what you mean, about the culture in Britain. I mean, overall, the Monkeys are fantastic. One of my favourite bands probably, and Alex Turners voice is one of my favourites. Humbug is a great album, don't get me wrong, but they all speak to us in different ways. Hence, you love it, and I prefer FWN.
BUT, WPSIATWIN (damn, had to repeat it) is my alltime favorite. For a debut, its bloody awesome.
