There should be a distinction made here...
Are we talking about physical (not secondary, nor mental) damage to one's self? If so, LSD is definitely less dangerous than Aspirin or any other NSAID. (Which I'm allergic to, thank god.)
If some find that hard to believe, look up the physical ramifications of NSAIDs. Then look up the physical ramifications of LSD.
Quite a no-contest in that perspective.
Although, I think it's worth looking at in a different angle than simply a physical one, depending on the circumstances.
