That works as an indicator, but a multitude of studies show the same trends and scientifically speaking, that there is a positive correlation between anxiety disorders and smoking marijuana should today be established fact and common knowledge. A study I saw from way back in 1981 showed about 50% of smokers in the US had experienced anxiety attack while high so this knowledge is not new, it's just been so strongly opposed by denial and wishful thinking.
I'm not saying it's a problem for all who smoke, but I don't one should advertise marijuana as something that helps against anxiety  Following that advice as a way to treat yourself sounds a bit risky and potentially extremely counter-productive.
And some of the stuff that grows out of the ground can have some really nasty consequences for people, so I don't think that's a good criteria to go by when trying to figure out if something is bad for you or not!

but marijuana is prescribed by medical doctors specifically as medication for anxiety disorders. i think it is perfectly fair to advertise it as something that helps with anxiety--at a doctor's discretion of course.
