I'm a Vonnegut fan, too...though it has been a long time since I read Slaughterhouse Five, and I don't think I've ever read Breakfast of Champions.
The Vonnegut book I remember reading last was Cat's Cradle, which I enjoyed a lot: "Cat's Cradle is a 1963 novel by Kurt Vonnegut, Jr. It explores issues of science, technology, and religion, satirizing the arms race and many other targets along the way" (Wikipedia). The final scene really sticks in my mind, years after reading it.
Right now I'm binging on Holocaust books, having over the last several months read around 4 books by survivors and additional Holocaust books by historians. The Holocaust book I'm reading currently is
Kinderlager: An Oral History of Young Holocaust Survivors.
