The whole point of my responses is to tell you there are bands out there with just as much credibility as Led Zeppelin that WILL be remembered. Don't use Nickelback/Lady Gaga as your base of comparison.

There are bands out there I agree, just not as much IMO as previous generations of music and I still don't think a band coming out of our generation will ever be held in the same regard as band's from the earlier generations. Music today seems water down and similar, it doesn't leave a lasting impression on me, at least not the same as the music that interests me. No doubt there are bands coming out today that are talented and unique, I like to think I am a part of one, but with how the world has evolved, and how our generation of consumers go through music, I think it's going to become tougher and tougher for artists to hang around for 25 years or even 40 years after their creation and maintain an audience, like the Zepp's, Hendrix's and Rush's have.
