The melody in "Clockwork" builds the tension well, by going from lower notes to higher, tenser notes, several times within the song. The melody was quite emotional...like a hand squeezing tighter and tighter, getting closer to crushing itself.
I prefer the beginning of the song, when the song has a more classical feeling, compared to when the driving beat comes in at 1:30 and the song relaxes.
The song is really really really long and repetitive! You must be a patient person. Around halfway through the song, I feared maybe I actually had started the song over by accident!  I'll try listening to others you've posted to see if my impressions change.
Do you actually go out dancing a lot and hear this sort of music often? It has been so long since I've been to a club that I don't know what people play in them nowadays. The last time I went to a club was in the late 1990s in Turkey where they were playing dance music kind of like this, and I was not in a very good mood. I just wanted to flee the giddy mob. I realized then that I had become somewhat cynical about life. I just didn't feel much like dancing around anymore surrounded by a lot of strangers. |

The version I currently have is only 6:41s which has a massive chunk taken out of it. But I don't really bother with song times. I don't pay attention to how long it is unless I get bored.
Yessssss, I go to alot of festivals which feature lots of tents dedicated to different sub genres. Like Main arena is usually mainstream music, Masters of Hardcore (MOH) is gabber music, which is reeeeally repetitive, and other which I cannot be bothered listing, but different labels which do different styles of music play at them.
