Pessimism serves me well as a fan of the Sharks, A's, and Jets. It's a lot better than getting your hopes up for.... anything.

Shame, because Nabokov is still a contender and an errant pass shouldn't be the deciding factor in any playoff game.

Well, here's the thing- and I'm not saying this to take anything away from Anderson (51 saves and 0 allowed is amazing regardless)- the Sharks completely failed to get in his face, obstruct his view, and crash the net. It was like throwing 51 practice shots on net, Anderson saw every puck the entire way. Even when he couldn't handily glove it, Andy could just kicker a rebound out because no forwards were driving the net for a ****ing rebound. They seriously stood their motionless at times... Where are the guys EARNING the crease? Going for redirects? In position for a rebound?
Also, although it's still split, some are now saying O'Reilly may have actually tipped the puck somewhat... In which case, hats off to the guy for his tenacity, and all blame falls solely on Nabby for not covering up the short side.
