The ratings are not generated from popularity, but rather the average rating per vote I think although there might be some requirement on the amount of votes an album needs to have before it can be up there. Still, I don't think Eloy even made the top 100 with any album .. well, at least not at the present. The only possible reason is that their albums are not as universally liked by those who listen to them.
