I really liked it, though Ayouch didn't impress me much in his other movie,
Whatever Lola wants, that one was a good surprise. Very much influenced by De Sica's work with non professional children actors, and more specifically his film
Sciuscia. A film that follows the life of the glue-sniffing kids working in the streets. It isn't as tragic as the Italian Neo-Realist predecessor's works, as this one has a hint more of innocent poetry.
I don't think I can say it's a "great" movie that marked me deeply, still it is very solid film.
