I currently have 60 CDs and a couple of records which may not seem like much but it's not too bad when you consider that I only really started buying music in the last couple of years and I'm still a poor student. I basically download media as I want it and buy it as my financial situation permits.
That's pretty much the same boat I'm in right now. Usually I will opt to buy a shirt when I go see a band live because a shirt has more uses than a CD. I'd like to start collecting vinyl again, but I'd prefer to get repressed and sealed stuff from now on because A LOT of the vinyl I use to have was in shit condition, which pretty much means I can't start collecting vinyl again until I move back to a major city where record shops are more present. Here in good ol' Reno if you don't wanna go to Best Buy, you're stuck going to Recycled Records which is only as good as the stuff people feel like selling.
