I was bummed that Waiting for the Worms was edited down because that's one of my favorite songs from the album, it also sucks that Hey You wasn't used because that's the best song.

My opinions very on the alternate song versions, Mother and Young Lust aren't as good as on the album, and Geldof's vocals for In The Flesh? and In the Flesh are well... unintentionally hilarious. Though hearing the riff being played by an orchestra and made to sound like a Nazi anthem is pretty cool.

The best change to the sound track is the addition of What Shall We Do Now, it totally caught me by surprise when I first watched the movie, totally should have been on the actual album.

Anyway, I still love The Wall, and the movie really did it justice, Alan Parker and Gerald Scarfe provided just the right kind of imagery that fit perfectly with the music. Though it goes without saying that the best parts are the animated bits by Scarfe, it kinda makes me wish the whole movie was animated.

Actually, if they remade The Wall as an animated film that would be awesome, as long as it's not CGI. A stop motion version would be badass, get someone like Henry Selick to do it.
