Anyway, I paced around my house for a while, being short with people, trying to clear my head. So eventually, I called up my buddy Amon and we went and got drunk together. And when I woke up this morning, I had more money in my wallet than I thought I would.

So, in summation, my gripe was with my former employer and his helper, and my gripe was cured quickly by, you guessed it, alcohol!
