the guys on Mythbusters built a functional sailboat using duct tape and a metal frame so it's definitely not an impossible feat. either way i'd definitely be interested in seeing and reading your progress on this endeavor. good luck  |
Yeah, I don't want to dissuade you from doing it because it's definitely possible. There's just going to be a hell of a lot of preparation involved, which might actually be fun, depending on how you look at it.
It'll be much easier if you've got a decent carpentry background too.
