Still, to have committed as much as you have while juggling a family, a job and a life, it speaks volumes about your character. I just hope that the next MB daddy aspires to be the next David and that the impression you've made here becomes a standard that everyone aspires to and no one takes for granted.

Thanks.
...blah, blah, blah.

Anyone who's modded these boards knows that the Admin here pretty much leave the day to day running of the boards to it's moderators, but when it comes to improving the forum with new ideas, new mods etc. it takes someone to mediate in order to get things done.
I took that responsibility, more out of impatience than anything else.
That and a natural urge to organise shit. It's a life long itch that extends to real life, much to my other half's despair. :/

While it's nice to read some of the comments on here (and I do appreciate them) I can't help getting the impression that my stepping down is going to make some kind of difference to these boards.
Which of course it won't!
I wouldn't have stepped down if that was the case.
It won't make a blind bit of difference while long time veterans like Urban and Big3 still have the desire to keep this place ticking over, along with Tor's organisational skills, jackhammer's enthusiasm, SATCHMO's presence and the priceless work of the other upcoming forum leaders.

Long live MB.

Lock please...
