i really like how honest people are with these things. i really find music-obsessed people have some sort of common thread running through them (albeit one i can't really put my finger on...but it shows in threads like this).

1) I am living with my parents again after 6 years of living on my own.
2) I have a degree in genetics but due to my circumstances am working at a liquor store.
3) I have both a superiority complex and an inferiority complex at the same time and both sides are constantly at war with each other.
4) I am excellent at giving advice that I don't follow.
5) I've only had one serious relationship.
6) I turned into a bonafide pothead while in college (I use the excuse it was because of the stress).
7) Said potheadness turned me into a recluse that only wanted to smoke, listen to music, and watch tv while being quite a bitter person in the outside world.
8) As you might have guessed, this ruined a beautiful 5 year relationship with a girl that I find incredibly hard to get over 2 years after the fact.
9) Though I still enjoy a good toke now and then it in no way consumes me like it did.
10) As depressed as I got over the whole thing, I still feel like I learned a lot about myself and feel like I can control myself before something like that happens again.
11) My first impressions of people have turned out to be right 99% of the time.
12) I can read people's emotions to the t and as a result act as a therapist to all of my friends as well as warning people of someone's intentions (they never listen...and, as I said, I end up being right).
13) I wish they would act as my therapist sometimes.
14) I have seen nearly all of Southeast Asia and a large chunk of Europe.
15) I long to move back to Asia.
16) My favorite meal is stingray, satay, and a nice big glass of Tiger beer.
17) I wish the rest of my life could consist of nothing but traveling and finding new music.
18) I have always wanted to be in a band, but somehow it has never worked out. It is still a life goal of mine, even if it takes until I am middle aged and playing in an old guys cover band.
19) I am amazing at arguing and no matter what the argument and even if I am in the wrong, you will feel like the guilty one. Not that that is my intention, it is just my instinct. My brother hates this.
20) I am probably one of the few people involved in hard science that believes in ghosts.
21) I hate any social event where I can't hear who I am talking to over the music. I go to these events to meet people...and I can't do that if I can't hear them.
22) I am a cat person.
23) I have an intense collection of band t-shirts.
24) I am seriously struggling at more facts now...
