His vocals are the main reason I like the band at all. He has a subtle rasp that he can turn up to a full scream that still sounds melodic and beautiful - reminds me of John Lennon sometimes. He's also a good songwriter I guess. There's something about Spoon that gets me excited while just about every other radio-friendly indie rock band that gets rave reviews bore me s
