The eyebrow piercing was more of a decision to permanently change my image in favor of one less traditional, more likely to offend, and overall to convince myself and my peers that I was not in fact a teachers pet (which i continued to be despite all my choices) and that I was a bit of an alternative: in short, i did it for all the wrong reasons. Regardless, it did what it was supposed to. Not long after that I stopped wearing all black because i was no longer trying to prove anything to anyone cuz the piercing did it for me. and not long after THAT I became who I am now... a confident, unique young lady who is totally ok with the way i look. I think my body decided I didn't need the piercing any more, because it rejected it. I was going to get it redone (the place offered to redo it for free), but i agree Barnard, I'm glad it grew out.
ha, that was a long explanation that no one probably wanted to hear (read).
For some reason, i find the double lip ring (they kinda look like fangs, you know?) incredibly sexy.... but i would NEVER encourage anyone to get them. Peircings, like tatoos, should look like you were born with them because they just *fit* so well. meh.
