Every time I've had salvia it's been insane, which is why I don't get it when people say they've never had any good trips with salvia.
Like Freebase says it's another dimension all together, which is scary, but awesome too if you're having a good trip. After what I saw on my first salvia trip it took me hours before I could even begin to explain what happened. Which is why it's important that you always have sitters to make sure you stay sitting down and no wandering off in the world that you think you're in, but you're not.

Man, I could never get up and wander off in that world. That world doesn't have a floor on which to walk on in my trips. I think the closest thing to a floor I ever saw was when I was stuck to the bottom of a cliff made of color and energy, staring at this extra-dimensional being whos' eyes, face, and ears were sucked into the cliff wall and up, over the edge. And there was a presence just over the top of the edge that was overwhelming. I was just stuck there, sideways, at the bottom of the cliff... this creature staring at me, I'm scared shi
tless and can't move. Time had no meaning and I felt like I was there forever.
Honestly, that was not a good trip. It was strong, but I do not equate that to "good". Every salvia trip I've ever had was full of negative emotion. But it's just so amazing how deep you go into your own psyche that you often try to go back to see if you can figure out why you're so afraid.
