That's the sound of another 1000 Rage fans emptying their wallets at HMV.

I used to enjoy the Christmas chart battles, it's the only time of the year when the charts are genuinely interesting and get people talking about pop music again. I'm backing Rage, because the Joe McElderry song is absolutely terrible. Hopefully next year when there is inevitably another campaign to stop the X Factor getting to number one, they will choose an actual Christmas song rather than political rap metal.
