Think you`ll find that most music buffs and rock enthusiasts love this group (they are very popular on these boards) Rush are the kind of group that you listen to, to really get into rock music
They`re popular for their superb technical ability, complex songwriting, shifting styles and even their dodgy lyrics
The Rush Albums to have are: Moving Pictures, 2112, A Farewell to Kings, Grace Under Pressure, Permanent Waves in that order, plus a whole load of excellent live material.
Each person has the fav in the group and Geddy Lee was always mine with his unique voice and big bass lines.
