Third time for this. Despite the opening 20 minutes cliched ridden voiceover and hyper editing, this film settles down really well with a great ensemble cast to a tense finish. Quality low budget UK movie.

I saw this earlier this year and I'm happy I took a few bong hits before watching it. It was a little misleading because I thought it was more about hooliganism, however it was still a very well done movie. My buddy Chris does renovation work with this English bloke named Eddie and when Chris was telling him about
Hooligans Eddie replied with "Oh yeah, that's the movie where Frodo pretends to be hard innit? Nah mate you want to see a real movie, try
Rise of the Footsoldier."
