It hints at the idea that there is no such thing as kings, but it is mothers and fathers and families who are the kings of a child's world. Great film, and I loved it. I was anticipating this film for a while and it definitely lived up to my expectations.

i actually almost cried just from watching the trailer, and i still can't quite understand why. i think it's a childhood regression or something, i was a bloody pansy as a child i guess... does it match up to the magic of the book though? i really really hope so : ) i know i really shouldnt compare books to film adaptations but squeeeeeee i loved this book ^^
