yeah Borderlands seemed a little rushed in the final zones. the ending is a total WTF as well. as for the rpg side, it's about as deep as any Diablo style game. quests + stats is all you need to call yourself a /rpg now.
Dragon Age is awesome but the combat can be rough. i'm getting seriously roughed up by a corrupted spider queen at the moment. tried a half dozen times tonight.
