It's just one guy, but yeah he's awesome. Or WAS awesome.
On his first few albums he produced and rapped, then he switched to instrumental. As for Ninja Tune, there is definitely some great stuff on the label, but I don't like everything...and there's way too much for me to ever consider going through it all. My favs would be Amon Tobin, Sixtoo, Blockhead, DJ Vadim (though his last one hasn't appealed to me), and One Self.
