Absence of evidence isn't evidence of absence.
So no, an atheist CAN'T prove to you there is no God.
However, that is not proof that there is a God.
I can tell you I know someone who is 24 feet tall and lives on the moon, and you can't prove me wrong. You know I'm lying, but you can't prove it.
