In your URL form (The place where you type your web addresses) type:
- about:config
- Press OK on the warning
- In the filter form near the top, type: browser.backspace_action
- Double-click the preference and type 2 in the value field, then press OK.
That will unmap the backspace key from the back button, and you won't have that problem anymore.
