I'm a huge fan of Speakerbox/The love below but never bothered to check out their earlier stuff (I got a bit of a shock when I found out they've been around for 15 years now and Stankonia was actually their 4th album. Anyhow...I've listened to Southernplayalistic and it didn't grab me much, but wow, Stankonia is fucking excellent. Almost as good as Speakerboxx/The love...:| I have a feeling their 90's stuff won't appeal to me much. I guess I need a bit of pop friendliness in my hip-hop seeing as how I don't actually pay any attention to the lyrics...*shallow pop whore*
