i have a friend who moved away years ago, and he would always send a letter each month with what he was up to, plus throw in a CD of What's In The Player, the music he was digging at the moment. though he got busy with work and life and the CDs slowly stopped coming, i still go back to them and listen, remembering the letters that went along with the music. mixed "tapes" just re-inforce for me how much personality and music go hand-in-hand.
