I emailed a friend of mine and here was his reply:

I play Stagg cymbals exclusively and have several rides that you might like. They just sent me a new 21" that is nice and I have a 22 ride with rivets thats cool. Stagg offers many large rides even up to a 32"!!!

When I was at Stanton's studio I played a killa Bosphorus ride..Its a 22 in his Signature line. I also like many of the Zildjian Constantinople series, but they are very pricey. (around $500)
Hope it helps to give you a place to start.

If you think a 200 dollar symbol sounds better than a more recommended 600 dollar one get it.
Yeah, but the brands are numerous. Going to a single store would only guaruntee you being able to hit a couple of cymbals. It's also important to mention that the reason he came here might actually be that a music shop isn't close enough (or maybe even big enough) to make a trip like that worth it.

peace out,
-nick

It only takes one jerk to prove any hypothesis absolutely false. Like, have you ever heard the rumor that you can drop cash on the street in Tokyo and the people are so honest that someone will find it, pick it up, and take it to the cops? Well, that's absolutely 100% not true, because I once found a plain envelope on the ground with "6,000 yen" written on it. Inside was 6,000 yen. I put it in my pocket and kept walking.
