I don't think it sounds stupid at all! I've always wanted to be in a band, and I loooooove to sing! So, I agree with Bleedmusic! Grab the opportunity by the horns, and run with it! You'll only get it once, and you don't wanna be 50 going, '"Damn, why didn't I do that?"'
