I went with good, if there was something between good and excellent I would have went with that. I think out of all his albums this takes the longest to grow, the pared down dreamy-ness creates less chances for hooks. But some of the songs are just beautiful once they sink in.
His lyricism is still razor sharp, even if I haven't actually obsessed over it (yet) like I did with Alopecia, he's still got that depressed wit and surreal imagery.
