About 3 weeks ago, My local radio station played Frontier Psychiatrist. To be honest I found myself cringing that i'd bought this record.
Thats nothing against the band i'd say the same for DJ Shadow, Lemon Jelly or any other band who did this kind of stuff too. I used to like it, but listening to it around a decade or so later I just find all that cut & paste stuff a bit cheap & naff these days.

I think it's something very much of it's time. I thought that this album was the perfect description of bubblegum music. You chew on it a bit until it loses it's flavor, then you spit it out & move on to something else.
Which funnily enough is exactly what I did with this album.
