'Tis true, but I think the reason why all these people are freaking out about salvia is because it's a lot more readily available than acid and a lot of young people are getting their hands on it really easily - people who have no experience using drugs or hallucinogens. There's been a stack of salvia-gone-wrong stories over here because people with very little experience have taken it and their sitters also have little experience with these kinds of drugs and so the person ends up having a bad trip or hurts themselves or whatever. Of course it's a lot milder than acid but it's still a problem because inexperienced people are managing to get their hands on it easily and have no knowledge in how to use it.
