3. What's the strangest thing to ever happen to you?
My son was still a baby and sleeping in a moses basket next to the bed. I had work the next day and had several fractious nights previously, so I slept in the spare room to try and get a decent nights kip.
Around 3 a.m. I awoke suddenly, but was inexplicably unable to move through fear and an intense feeling of dread. A bit like waking up after a nightmare, but without the nightmare.
I felt compelled to go to the main bedroom where my wife and son were sleeping and somehow manage to pluck up the courage to get out of bed and enter the room.
The second I opened the door my wife screamed. She was shaking with fear and eventually managed to tell me, that she too, had woken up terrified and that just before I'd entered the room, she was frozen with fear watching my son being picked up several feet clear of the moses basket by what she could only describe as a "presence" in the room.
All 3 of us spent the rest of the night downstairs with all the lights switched on. I tried to convince the wife she'd been dreaming, but she insisted she saw what she saw and the coincidence freaked us both out.
4. In case of a zombie outbreak, where would you hole up, and why?
Liverpool. No self respecting zombie would be seen dead in the place.
5. You're about to be executed. What's your last meal request?
Steak and kidney pudding, chips, peas and gravy and sliced banana and custard for afters.
