I consider Final Cut to be a lot more whiney and pretentious than The Wall is. I like the concept and story behind The Wall, the execution, it's produced like a Floyd album. The Final Cut just expands on the themes of Animals and The Wall, but without the trademark Floyd sound and IMO a lot more whining. "Thatcher killed my daddy" and what not.

Heh, different strokes.

I don't mind The Wall's radio play, I still like the singles like Hey You and ABITW and I like most of the deep cuts from the album as well

Generally the only part of The Wall I don't like is that empty void of filler between Hey You and Comfortably Numb on side 3.
