Unfortunately, I agree with you.
Mathematically speaking, in context with what we know and what we don't, there's an intensely far better chance that we're not alone in the universe than the chance that we are.
Statistics can't even be a part of the argument, because it's too vast of a possibility landslide for it to be debatable.
